Nicci Unsicker was born in Elgin, Illinois. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to study Indian Law at the University of Tulsa. While in school, she worked at several law firms focusing on Native American issues, including Oklahoma Indian Legal Services. During her time at OILS she worked on Estate Planning and Guardian Ad Litem cases. While in law school she was heavily involved with the Native American Law Student Association. Nicci is interested in many different legal areas affecting indigenous peoples, and mainly practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, and restricted land issues.
